Laurens Holve

Laurens Holve is a fully qualified Osteopath, Naturopath and Acupuncturist, who has been in full time practice since 1984. His almost thirty years as a therapist allows him to draw upon a rare combination of experiences which have included hospital stints in both India and China.

His practice keeps up to date by following seminars and regularly attending lectures and workshops at leading London hospitals such as the Wellington in St Johns Wood.

Over the years he has helped thousands of patients of all ages regain and rebuild their health, with a treatment protocol uniquely tailored to each patients needs.

Education and Degrees

1980 - B.Sc (Hons) Physiology University College London.
1984 - Diploma in Osteopathic and Naturopathic Medicine, British College of Osteopathic Medicine.
1985 - 1986 Postgraduate Course Acupuncture London.
1987 - Advanced Certificate Acupuncture Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He returned to Shanghai in 1991 to further his Clinical training at the Renji Hospital in Shanghai.
1992 - 1994 Diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine the College of Chinese Herbal Medicine in London.
2009 - Foundation course British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS).

Laurens has been in full time practice from 1984 in North London where he founded the Camden Practice and since 1985 he has been working in Woking where he currently runs York Clinic.

His rich training and experience have uniquely enabled him to draw upon all three medical disciplines. This offers the patient an extensive range of treatments which achieve clinically effective results.

He keeps up to date with on-going training in cutting edge treatments both in Acupuncture, dry needling and regularly attends Professional development seminars.

He also attends conferences at hospitals to keep up to date with advances in conventional treatment for the more common conditions he treats.

He is married and has a daughter. In his spare time, he writes, runs, competes slowly in half marathons, and more recently has become an advocate of kettlebell training.
